In his current role, Hiek is responsible for Aegon’s worldwide data transformation. He has launched programs to build capabilities across the organization with a focus on skills as well as mindset and culture.
His previous positions include an Advanced Analytics & Big Data practice leadership role at McKinsey & Company. Hiek has experience in the insurance, banking, telecommunications, and utility sectors. Hiek has a Ph.D. in Econometrics from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
